Handmade soap in India, is currently packaged with an excessive use of plastic, shrink wrap and wax paper, all of which are not biodegradable. My objective with this brand was to eliminate the the need to buy a separate container to hold your soap, and find a way in which the packaging could do the same, with limited material.
The packaging design and soap container is made out of straight cut bamboo, which degrades when in contact with water. This means that by the time you finish using the bar of soap, the container would be unusable, can be thrown away and will biodegrade. The information label is made out of screen printed handmade paper which covers one end of the container.
